3 MASKS YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME FOR A BRIGHT SKIN

Face masks are a great way to give your skin its glow back. Making your own mask in one-on-one time and taking time for yourself is also therapeutic for the mind.

We’ve put together three mask definitions, depending on your skin’s needs. Bonus points if you choose organic and responsibly sourced versions of the ingredients.

MOISTURIZING & SOOTHING MASK
A mask that nourishes sensitive or dry skin… Honey is known as a moisturizer. Honey and avocado work together to hydrate your skin and lock in moisture. Anti-oxidizing blueberries help repair skin and oats gently soothe.

Materials:
4 tablespoons of honey
handful of blueberries
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of ground oats

Fabrication:
Mash the blueberries with a fork or blender. Put the oats in the blender. Mix together the honey, blueberries, ground oats and coconut oil. If it’s too liquid, add more oats.

CLEANSING MASK
Illuminating, refreshing and anti-aging… This refreshing enzymatic mixture will relax the skin by exfoliating dead skin and dirt. This can come to the aid of city dwellers in particular, removes the pollution your skin is exposed to during the day and cleanses your face. Kaolin clay attracts dirt from your pores; lemon, dirt modules; Cucumber cools and makes your skin glow.

Materials:
2 tablespoons of sugar
Juice of one fresh lemon
quarter cucumber
kaolin clay powder

Fabrication:
Blend the cucumber with some water in a blender. Add lemon, kaolin clay and sugar; mix until it becomes a paste.

ILLUMINATING MASK
If you’re suffering from a mental breakdown, your skin is probably just as well… Coffee grounds revitalize the skin, and its aroma provides an invigorating and warm atmosphere. This is a deep cleansing; while cleaning the dead skin of coffee grounds; Coconut oil and hydrating honey work together to hydrate and lock in moisture to give your skin vitality.

Materials:
Coffee grounds (from machine or brew press)
coconut oil
Honey
cocoa powder
unsweetened oat milk

Fabrication:
Mix the coconut oil, honey, milk and cocoa powder. Add the coffee grounds and mix.
